I loved the characters that Arthur created for the games I ran. My favorite was Miles Winston Tyler aka “The Wayfarer” – an energy lifeform of unknown origin from a collective intergalactic hive-mind species. Wayfarer bonded to a human detective (played by James Spader) for the purpose of collecting data on these curious corporeal lifeforms called “Humans”. He had skills like “Eidetic Memory Totally Without Any Context” and “Laser Beam Finger”.
I always knew I could let Arthur’s imagination run wild with whatever creative character idea he came up with because 90% of his roleplaying took place entirely inside his own head. The 10% he shared with us though, was always a magical adventure.
